Mackenzie-Yeager

MACKENZIE YEAGER ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Mackenzie Yeager has been an attorney with Nikki Davis Law, PC since 2022, focusing her practice on estate planning and probate. What she enjoys most about being an estate planning and probate lawyer is that each estate is different and every trial is different. It is very interesting to examine the very interesting lives her clients have led and do the best she can in their honor after their passing. She feels it is crucial to understand who the deceased was and what was important to them and act according to that perspective. She also enjoys the diversity within probate, as she gets to touch upon various other areas of the law in these proceedings, such as business law. She often uses her business degree and previous work experience in business, including her work in commodities regulation with chief risk officers and oil and gas and financial institutions and federal commodities litigation support for expert witnesses in DOJ trials, to better understand her clients’ estates and claims.

Of working with Mackenzie, her teammates describe her as a “savvy, burgeoning businesswoman” and said she was “instrumental in assisting in advancing initiatives” and that they “offer high recommendations” for her “without reservation.”

Mackenzie grew up in The Woodlands, Texas and has very close ties to the greater Houston area. She left Texas only for college and law school, graduating from Birmingham-Southern College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management in 2017. She was a Harrison Honors Scholar, Stump Entrepreneurs Scholar, and won the Stump Innovation Award. She earned her law degree from University of Alabama School of Law in 2020.

Mackenzie is a member of the State Bar of Texas Antitrust and Business Litigation Section, Business Law Section, International Law Section, and Real Estate, Probate & Trusts Section. She is also a member of the Houston Young Lawyers Association and the Disability and Elder Law Attorney Association (DELAA).
